i have worked in print and print making for over 15 years. i own and manage commonwealth press a full service screen printing and design studio. i am a print consultant and touring artist. i participate in both solo and group lectures and art shows.
my experience includes an indepth understanding of printing from concept to product across the spectrum of printing and print making.
from hand screened flat stock to offset/sheet fed 4 color process, i have hands-on ability and comprehension of design in relation to not only aesthetical compostion but how that visual relates to actual production - color separation, screens, plates, LPI, DPI, process, spot, simulated process, embossed, die-cut, onward and crosseyed.
career highlight:
i was asked by the warhol museum to design and print an abstract collection of prints based on andy warhols screen-tests. given access to all original footage i was asked to create a 5 part series of posters from individual and personally chosen frames, print style, color and substrate.
